Senior Associate Risk Analyst | Python | Stata | Solving Messy Data with Quantitative Analysis
Hi, I'm Sabrina – an Applied Mathematics graduate with a Master of Science in Business interested in using statistics, machine learning, and economic reasoning to understand complex systems and solve real-world problems.
I currently work as a Senior Associate Risk Analyst at Capital One's PULSE Payment Network, where I focus on regulatory risk, connecting disparate data sources, analyzing messy problems, and operational problem solving. Outside of work, I spend my time exploring the intersection of mathematics, economics, and machine learning through independent projects and research.
When I'm not on my laptop, I enjoy heated vinyasa yoga, international travel, science fiction and fantasy book clubs, Formula 1, and Lego sets.
Driven by curiosity, I aim to conduct rigorous research on the global economy and pursue a PhD in Economics. Passionate about international economics and policy, I spent two and half years at the Economic Statecraft Program studying security externalities, global threat identification, and foreign policy advancement.
